Is it groundbreaking? No. Is it impeccably judged and harder to forget than it pretends to be? Absolutely. Green, woody, mossy, with a cool grip that lasts. If you bounced off it thinking it was too proper, test it on a gray day and wait for the drydown, where the vine and moss tighten into something quietly seductive.
