Back to Home

There’s a certain thrill when a heritage house refuses to play it safe. Cacharel is back with Ella Ella Flora Azura, a new aromatic amber for women and a flanker to 2025’s Ella Ella. The name is a little cheeky. Flora for the flowers, Azura for that blue sky and salt-on-skin fantasy. My pulse quickened a bit because aromatic amber in 2026 is not the powdery comfort blanket it was ten years ago. It’s herbs and warmth, light and shadow, a tug-of-war I love wearing on hot pavement.

If you missed the original Ella Ella, it skewed youthful without feeling silly, the way Cacharel often threads the needle. Think of the brand’s arc from Anaïs Anaïs to Amor Amor to Noa and the playful swagger of the Yes I Am series. They know their audience, and they know how to flirt with grown-up textures without losing charm. So an aromatic amber tagged with Azura makes sense. I’m expecting lift up top and a slow glow underneath. No note dump needed.

Let’s talk timing. Women’s launches have been leaning bracing and herbal. Lavender-laced powerhouses and airy woods have crept into vanillic territory and made it more dimensional. Ella Ella Flora Azura sounds like it could sit near that YSL Libre to Alien Goddess axis, but with a Cacharel wink. If it delivers a salty-floral breeze over a resinous heart, it could be the everyday-into-evening bridge that so many wardrobes quietly crave.

Do we need another flanker? Only if it adds something. The original Ella Ella felt like a reset for the line. If Flora Azura sharpens the contrasts, gives the aromatic facet some bite, and keeps the amber from collapsing into syrup, I’m in. I’ll wear it with a white shirt and red lipstick, then with a denim jacket and nothing precious underneath. If it hums on skin rather than shouts from the bottle, that’s success.

File Ella Ella Flora Azura under watch-list material. Aromatic amber with a coastal glint is a mood I’m ready to ride into spring. If Cacharel nails the balance, this could be the one you absentmindedly reach for, then realize you’ve worn three days straight.
