If Toy Boy made men smell like trouble wrapped in a teddy bear suit, what will Toy Boy 2 dare to do? The original 2019 release from Moschino flirted with chaos in the chicest way, taking a lacquered-black teddy and packing it with rose and heat. It wasn’t “cute” on skin. It was assertive, a little dangerous, and it made boardrooms more interesting.
Now we get Toy Boy 2, the inevitable sequel. No corporate fluff here, just the question that matters. Does it double down on the rose with grit, or does it rinse the kink and chase the clean trend that sells airport-side? Flankers often brighten, thin, or sweeten. Sometimes that works. Sometimes you lose the bite that made the name worth saying.
What made Toy Boy stick wasn’t novelty alone. It cracked open the gender cage around rose, pushed peppered warmth over a modern woody-amber chassis, and made the whole thing feel like a wink and a dare. If Toy Boy 2 keeps that tension but sharpens the silhouette, I’m listening. If it polishes everything into a fresh blur, I’ll wear my original and walk on.
What I’ll be testing for:
Who should care:
I don’t need a teddy in a new outfit to be impressed. I need the attitude. If Moschino kept the rose bold and the finish modern, Toy Boy 2 could be the rare sequel that earns its number. I’ll wear it properly and report back once it’s had a full day on skin.
